Breast Cancer Crusade

The Avon Breast Cancer Crusade was launched in 1992 as a small program in the U.K. Over the last 19 years, Avon philantropy has raised and donated more than 900 million to breast cancer programs around the world.

In Ireland from 1998 to 2011 passed over € 1 million combating breast cancer foundation. Thank you for your support and consultancy to all our customers.

Numerous Avon Crusade programs raise funds and awareness for the cause including the Walk for Breast Cancer Series, the Avon Walk Around the World for Breast Cancer, and Crusade Pink Ribbon fundrasing products.

Those are few ways to help us raising funds:

2. You can donate using your credit card via PayPal system. You enter your own contribution amount – remember every cent counts!

3. Contact us or one of our Representatives to buy Pink Ribbon products or post us Checks, Postal Money orders or arrange other method of payment.

4. Support our special programms. Currently we’re organising fundrasing all together with Northwood Medical Centre in Dublin from 19th till 31st of March. All women (age 25-59) are invited to do free of charge cervical smear.

5 FACTS YOU SHOULD KNOW:

  1. More than 240000 women, and 1000 men, will be diagnosed with breast cancer only in US in 2012.
  2. More than 40000 women and 400 men die each year from this disease.
  3. One person is diagnosed every 3 minutes, and one person dies of breast cancer approximately every 14 minutes.
  4. People over the age of 50 account for 76% of breast cancer cases; while only 5% of breast cancer diagnoses are in people under age of 40 and 18 % are in their 40s.

Our partner in the fight against cancer is the foundation ARC Cancer Support and her team of nurses and doctors from the ARC House in Dublin (Eccles Street).
